New England Airfoil Products Hosts Governor Lamont
Governor Ned Lamont is always a welcome guest at New England Airfoil Products, on Wednesday the 19th of October 2022, we welcomed him to talk to our workforce about manufacturing in the State of Connecticut and the commitment to education, training and the importance of Aerospace manufacturing in the state.

The Governor had a tour of the facility, which changed somewhat when he last toured the plant in 2019 to award us the Eversource Energy efficiency award; he took a special interest in our New Product Introduction Center and chatted with many members of the workforce during his tour.
The Governor held a private lunch with executive members of the NEAP team along with Mauro Fioretti, the President, and CEO of Pietro Rosa Group to discuss plans for further foreign investments in the State and the importance of the support the Department of Economic Development gives to decision making process.

The Governor complimented the Workforce on its output during the covid pandemic and was delighted to hear of the 1.5 Million dollar investment in solar panels that will support the States drive on reducing carbon footprints and lower emissions.
