New England Airfoil Products launches virtual showcase
On Monday, March 1st New England Airfoil Products Inc launched its virtual US pavilion showcase. The showcase was launched as the world-renowned Paris has been canceled for 2021. Over 150 US companies have adopted this new method of reaching worldwide customers.
The official Opening Ceremony of the USA Aerospace and Defense Showcase was broadcast live and viewed globally by a wide variety of aerospace professionals. The Showcase combines the tried-and-true power of tradeshows with the speed of the internet to help the aerospace and defense industries stay connected while staying safe! Tom Kallman, President and CEO of Kallman Worldwide Inc. who created the concept stated, “This online commercial media platform is a true way of networking that is no longer constrained by time and space”.
The opening ceremony had many prestigious speakers such as Diane Farrell, acting Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade for U.S. International Trade Administration, and Heidi Grant, Director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
Diane Farrell stated, “The aerospace and defense industries are among of the most globally intergraded sectors and the ability to connect with suppliers and customers in key markets is critical. Trade is critical to the competitiveness of the American aerospace industry.”
The aerospace industry holds the highest trade balance among ALL U.S. manufacturing industries, its position it has held for over 30 years. This virtual tradeshow is yet another example of how the world is adapting to the effects of COVID and not letting the march of progress slow down because of it.
