Columbia Helicopters Signs 10 year LTA with New England Airfoil Products
New England Airfoil Products (NEAP) and Columbia Helicopters entered into a 10-year Long-Term Agreement to supply all compressor rotor blades for the GE CT58/T58 series of engines used on Columbia helicopters. The fleet includes the Boeing Vertol 107 and 561 Helicopter platforms.
NEAP is proud to count Columbia Helicopters as one of its newest customers at its Farmington facility in Connecticut. This agreement supports the diversification of the company’s customer base and market portfolio, both of which are essential ingredients for the company’s ongoing success.
The team at NEAP looks forward to working with Columbia Helicopters and building a fruitful long-term relationship in the supply of products to support their ever-growing fleet that meets some of the most challenging environments that we see in the world today.
Greg Hrostek, Senior Manager of Supplier Management at Columbia Helicopters stated, “We are excited to partner with NEAP who has a long history of manufacturing quality compressor airfoils. Finding a supplier to support this commodity on a legacy platform was no easy task and is a major milestone for Columbia since becoming the Total Logistics Support provider for the CT58 engine line in 2018. The members of the NEAP team have been consummate professionals through the bid phase and into initial development. We look forward to our continued partnership and long-term production.”
